Cabarrus Mathematics Club
The Cabarrus
Math Club was founded in 2005 by Ms.
Cathy Whelan. in order to provide enrichment and challenges for students in
the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades who have a strong interest and ability in
mathematics. The club meets once a month during the academic year. At club
meetings students participate in the Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle
Schools. For the 2005-2006 school year the club was supported by Cabarrus County Schools,
the Halton Foundation, and the UNC
Charlotte Department of Mathematics . We are grateful
for their support.
