Union County Mathematics Club

The Union County Math Club was founded in 2004 by Ruth Rowe. It was begun to provide enrichment and challenges for students in the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades who have a strong interest and ability in mathematics. The club meets once a month during the months spanning September to May. At club meetings students participate in the Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle Schools. For the 2005-2006 school year the club has received support fromthe Union County Schools, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, the Halton Foundation, and the UNC Charlotte Department of Mathematics . We are grateful for their support.
